I was going to get it done when I saw them at the VAG-Opel show in Belgium in September but decided not to now. Might get a cheapo set of stealies but couldn't do it to my brand-spankers!

But with bandeds that isn't a surprise as they are so time consuming to make

it comes to about £405 with me providing the wheels, or £485 that unpainted and without tyres.

So add a set of tyres and some paint to that figure and your close on £600 if not more.

Thats for 16" btw and 15" golf g60 rim's... Yes they look good are they road legal? and can i bring myself to pay that for a set of steel wheels pmsl.

I think i'll stick to the original wheel i had in mind for now, unless somthing else comes up...

I think the legality is questionable not sure but i would say no to be safe i think they are sold as 'show' only.....do you have 16" steels with a 4 stud pattern to send away then?

Place i would use is the biggest wire wheel builders in the world. The make daily banded wire wheels for £1M+ cars. Infact there wheels and build quality are so good even the owner of VW used them to make the wheels for his type 2 bugatti thats worth in excess of £6M iirc as its 1 of about 4 left in the world.
