Going to look at replacing old components on the nova to keep it running tip top...

Do all XE's run the same lambda sensor? Where's the best place to get one from?

Yeah, most cars have the same one. Just go to your local motorfactors and get one there.

less than £20 for a generic Lambda sensor that you will need to wire up (from ebay)

i dont mind a bit of soldering... I'm more concerned with getting it out...

IME to solder the wires you'll need a very hot iron. Solder doesn't seem to take to the wires on lambda sensors very well, it just kind of rolls off !

You're better off crimping the wires together or using a good quality connector with crimped pins.

Agreed there bud... dont solder them, crimp them.
