And They Will Work Fine
What Jets Dop I Need For A Standard Xe Or A Standard Seh?

i would have thought 600cc carbs would be too small for an XE?!? R1 or similar would be a better choice.

Manifold is relatively simple, sandwich plate with spaced tubes and silicone hose to fit :)

silicone hose has to be used wisely, high vacuum can suck it inside out, also it causes the carbs to vibrate making the fuel froth in the bowls and flood.

bike carbs have a large chokes, they may only be 600cc but they rev more than twice the RPM a car will therefore have to flow more CFM, also seeing as the VE of a bike engine is far greater than an XE, you cant compare them straight off by looking at engine volumes.

just bought them now so ill get them on and see how it goes, best way i think,
does anyone know what jet sizes i should use4 and where to get them

bogg brothers do bike carb tuning :)

i know the volumetric efficiency is higher on a bike engine, just going on past experience. my bro is running r1 carbs on his pinto, and were recommended by many tuners.

ive got a pv mag somewhere that tells you the size you need to drill them to but i cant find it, ive called bogg bros before theyre prices are a bit steep tbh id rather do it myself,
i wanted r1 or zzr1100 carbs but i just bought a good sbr 600 set for £35 posted so may as well try them,

You'll get your money back... I'm sure someone on here put a set on an XE the other week. there was a vid of it flaming due to overfuelling. Worth doing a search and dropping them a pm :)
