uh oh

lately my steering has been feeling wierd, its like the cars drunk or sumut, its gone really light, when i accelerate it sways left and when i take my foot off it sways right..... then when i braked the was a slight knock coming from the front drivers corner.....

..... anyways, when driving home today (luckily i was only about a mile away) and i crossed over a mini roundabout, i hit boost and there was that again.... but louder. and this time my car violently shot to the left. i got out an had a nose round and all seemed well, as i started to drive i realised all really wasnt well, decided to limp home anyway.

when i pulled on my drive i got out to see my wheel where it shouldnt be.. nearly in my bumper, the wheel will now move forwards an backwards..... great :mad:

i havnt been able to jack it up an have a proper look yet, but iv tried to look under an cant see nothing.... i hope it aint too bad

just thought id share my misfortunes with ya all

*edit, on the second pic, the passenger side wheel was straight... not happy

only a tie bar/cross member failure would let the wishbone come that far forward, but may be ball joint related.

serves you right for not checking out the vague steering sooner!

the bottom arm will be loose mate !! the two bolt's to the bottom ball joint!!

i think that too, unles summin happend to the steering rack :confused:

TCA mount on the front crossmember? Have they been strengthened?
