spoke to riggy earlier today and we came up with what must be the best idea yet.
ask yourself this (i do every year)

why dont we all go and camp at billing the night before. then all convoy up together. Every year i hate the camping side of pv, and the layout to billing is awsome too.
please put your thoughts to this idea.
and remember them.
i didnt think it was that bad just some p issed up t-wat decided to try it on with my mrs and i nearly ended up givin him some slaps, and being afraid of being kicked in the head by people and the "you what?! you?!" chants lol did annoy me in the end :(

Despite the fact I agree completely about the useless n00bs on the campsite, I still think its preferable to the mahoosive queing in the morning to get in.
I think we need to be a bit more on the ball next year though. Get there dead early and corner off a nice big section on the edge out the way. At least we wont be COMPLETELY surrounded by valve bouncing reprobates lol
It would also be preferable not to believe a word the organisers say either lol

lol that was my mate parked next to my nova, he had his redtop fitted the day before camping and is sure its just **** in the engine as it hasent been run for a while, he still doesent belive me its a dodgy sensor!!:roll:

Sorry. Highlight of camping was the four ravers with the sign up saying 'PARTAY HERE LATERS' with them all making shapes to a booming corsa which was slowly losing all its trim.
A few hours later, still only 4 of them, still making shapes lol

Was quite civilised where we were camped from what I remember although I don't really remember a great deal about Saturday night to be fair.

We'd had enough of all the muppetry over in the jov camp too, seeing the twonks in the corner jumping on the bonnet of a white vectra for half an hour made my blood boil so much I wanted to go make their faces look as bad as the bonnet did! I tried to get a book going on at what time someones engine would eventually let go, but there wasn't much interest as we were all just sat there quietly drinking the night away.
Surprised I can rember any of it having almost polished off a full 70cl bottle of jack daniels!
Yeah camping was an experience in itself! Some guy in the black Escort came round near all our cars sideways :O
Did manage to sleep though with no trouble at tent. Pulling it down in morning to let people out - when I bent over to get a peg off floor, having his engine revved in my face really impressed me.
Managed to sleep, but know exactly where Sean's coming from.
I know the moajority of PNG aren't chavs, but the amount there was ridiculous!
Was the guy that nearly killed Ste_porter with us? lol
i know this is a bit early... well a lot early to be asking but i was just wondering if anybody new if the show next year was going to be around the same time or if it will be later or earlyer in the year???

I woke up at about 4 i reckon, and was in a strange sense of where the **** am i, it was ****ing loud when i went to sleep. Strange time, some how the site was 100% silent, i quickly went back to sleep lol
camping wasn't that bad this year i think. sahem it always so muddy make life a real apin if you want to show the car. unless your gay and leave it on a tailer out of thew mud

unfortunetly it was out of anyones control really. it was all down to how bad the fields were. if the fields wernt ****ed i could of picked a quiet and big enough spot for us instead of trying to find the dryest bit. this year compared to last was nice and peaceful tho and i had no trouble sleeping

Camping was alright... Towards the end there was only me porter burgo and adam sat scofing a load of crisps and hearing the 'you what you what' for ages.
As soon as we put our heads down we hear a air horn and porter wanted to go get it lol couldn't get to sleep til 6am though!!

Yep i was one of the people who put there car to bed at night in its p/j's and on a trailer.
The best bid was getting to sleep in "The Hotel Vectra GSI" double bed heating lights dvd player loads of room and best of all it cut out most the noise from out side so i got to sleep a peice of pish.
Can you use shot guns at PV?

I camped at Billing last year, and we left the site about 7am and got there and hardly had to Queue, although this year did seem alot busier than last.
I was also surprised at how many people stay there that are going to PVS. It was deffinatly better than the previous year when I camped at pod

pmsl, all sounds pretty much the same as where we camped. The saxo behind us was mega annoying for several reasons
1. Ragging round the campsite all afternoon (was funny when he coated some guys car in mud and said guy nearly ripped his head off)
2. Pi$$ poor sound system playing gash tunes
3. The girls dancing on the top of it at stupid o'clock didnt but unfortunately a: fall off and hurt themselves b: fall thru the sun roof or c: do any damage to it
4. Owner getting in car at 4am and leaving engine running until 9am.
erghhhh
And the amount of people that find amusement in bouncing cars off limiters for hours on end just beggars belief.
There was deffinately a more chavvy element to it this year.
I camped up beside the club vauxhall chaps, They were in a barriered off area, The ground was hard with very little muck, i refused to drive the mk1 anywere near the main campsite even tho i had wanted to park up with you guys..
I think the main advantage of camping is the fact theres zero queuing into the pod on the sunday morning, Your basicly straight into the show area with no arsing about..
They're were no ****s about our site so i had a really positive camping experence!!!

unfortunatly i couldn't make it this year but i will be attending net year. What would you guys say if i bought a couple of cdjs and a mier and then me kev and some other members of here could have a little mi? would this overly anoy anybody? i understand that not everybody like the same sort of music but it could liven things up a bit and also with the amount of djs on here im sure we cater for prety much all genres?
Santa pod is always the same, we gave up camping years ago, and either drive down or stay in wellingborough. For trax we have stayed at billing before.

Both MK and Northampton are 20 mins from the pod.
I would imagine block booking a huge camping area, roping it off, & sending patrols out on a regular basis armed with expansion foam, cowmuck & marker pens to de-chav a few undesirables would be quite good fun
The premier inn is only a few miles from the pod and is very cosy for £49 a night, Ill still be camping next year tho!
Night vision Rifles, pick off the Chav *******s. Everyone put a fiver in a jar and whoever kills the most gets the lot!!

i see everyones point on the camping but to be honest the camping part is 50% of the fun if you ask me i only live an hour or so away but camp when ever i can cause its just the exsperiance and the atmosphere of it all that realy makes it worth while yes they do your head in and yes i wish that scooby whent bang but everyone is dwelling on the negative side of the camping and slowly forgeting how much fun it actualy was to mix have a drink ramble crap untill stupid o clock. go on the bumper cars pissed take the piss out of each other and the genral larking about we did together as a club why dwell on the few things that put a downer on it when you could look forward to doing all the good things you did this year again next year.

We we're pitched about 30-40ft away from this idiot and the retard with the reg Astra GSI bouncing it off the limiter, he was convinced he had a 20XE as his engine (1.8) had a red rocker cover!

we stayed at billing last year and it probably was better than PV to be honest. next year i think i might do it again.
