BOOT WELDING

righ bet 99% of nova drivers have done this.
yes my boot has gone,
right basical im jus bout to weld it,
its gone in the corners and along the back,lots of plates.
basical if i weld it inside the boot,will it pass the MOT or does it have to be done under the car?

yep as long as its structurally sound ul b ok.
make sure u grind/chop out all the rust, then weld a 0.8mm metal plate over it. as long as its strong ul be fine.

might b a good time to put flashing tape in ur boot. reduces external sounds, vibrations off exhaust and makes your tunes sound better. also covers up cowboy welding work ;)

dicko would you be hinting i am a cow boy welder......................well........lol got sum1 do it for free,i hate welding in boots
il get him to do the inside then,coz it will be quicker,hence il have to buy him less cans.
( a can a hour,good deal if u ask me)
