What did everyone get?

I set my PB with 40hp and 60 lb/ft torque less than last year!

12.8@111

Awesome result that
I got a vid of one of your Sat runs, think it was a 13.4 though.

Just checked my slips, my quickest was 15.7 @ 89.7.
Previous best was 16.04 @ 86.

So aye, it was quicker. More pod experience may put that down another 0.5, as it was only 4th go down the 1/4.
Plus this time i had 2 seats fitted, and heavier front brakes. So about right tbh. Im happy anyway :)

Very.

Hence my comment about 1/4 experience. As you said, youve done lots of 1/4 runs, probably how you get so good times.
I saw plenty of xe novas running 14.9-15.1.......

My first run, i ran a 14.5 but missed 3rd lol was my first time... still beat a type-r civic. then my second a 14.3 and spanked Carrie lol

Then my best was 14.176 @ 103mph

Diff made all the difference! Worth its weight in gold :)

Yeh i have a quaife LSD, came in the car when i bought it... For my first time on the strip, and a bog standard XE, 14.1 isn;t a bad time :)

I did curse a little at myself lol had a really good start. ended up with a 14.5 for that.

I was addicted by the end of my three... sooooo much fun. Will be at the next RWYB for sure! Hopefully byt then, the nova will be my second car and i wont have to worry about breaking bits lol

15.03, not sure on TV. I can go faster if I can cut the wheelspin down and more importantly avoid using 5th gear by either raising the rev limit or more sensibly changing the final drive.

First time I've given the car full beans, so quite happy.

X16XEL on TB's with full interior, fat bloke driving and smoke screen!

Mine managed a
13.8 @ 102mph

I missed a gear on the 3rd run but the first two runs were identical times.

would there ever be a PNG gathering at a RWYB day? Seems like a fair few had a go and enjoyed it.
Could do some runs have a BBq etc...

I organised one with Ian about seven or eight years ago. We had a very good turn out with about five classes and Total Vauxhall covering. Probably still got the results somewhere.

I was going to say the same thing... The skirts were pure 80's, similar to my manta ones.
