Quick Shift Gears!

I have seen these quick shift gears conversions for the Nova for sale in the back of Max Power. These claim to improve BHP quite alot. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone fitted one of these to their Novas - If so was there any power increase???

correct me if i'm wrong but you shouldn't see any Power Increase. There not there for that all it alters is the gearsticks movements. Giving you a quicker shift and therefore a better acceleration time.

i was told u get 10% increase throughout the rev range!

Are you taking about the geabox internal cogs etc, or the linkage between the gear stick and box? Apparently some of the straight cut Quaife type boxes have less drag on the power meaning less power is sapped by the gearbox.
