before i start sorry about any bad spelling :bonkers:
went out for a meal and to watch a film last night with my misses, and when we come back to the car someone had nicely left a wheel clamp on it.
so we called them up and they said they wanted £100 cash to take it off. i nicely told them to "jog on" and told them we would pay them £30 or £40 and take it on the chine. then i asked then where was the sign to tell us they can clamp and they pointed behind a skip and in a shop window next to all the offers.
(who reads the shop window at 9 at night to see if you can park out side it.) but any way. i told the man if he dont take it off i will and he said if you damage it it crimanal damage and we will have to pay, and if we keep it its steeling and he will take us to court. so i asked him if i was to take it off with no damage to it and give it back to them, then what. he said there is nothing he can do. then he said do you know how thats held on. i said yer its over the bottom arm and under the drive shaft. so all iv got to do is take the bottom ball joint off and its off, he said yer but you dont have any tolls. so i called my girl friends bro up and he come and got me and we went back in my car(that has my toll box iin it) jacked the car up undone the 3 bolts slide the chane off put it all back and called them up. they wasnt very happy and told us to hide the clamp so they can come get it in the morning lol they said they cant fine us if we tooke it off with out damaging it and that will be the end of it :lol:
