Corsa GSI engine number location

Hi I currently rebuilding a C16XE engine to fit to my new nova rally car and need to make the changes on the V5 for the engine change but not short which of the many numbers on the block is the one required for the DVLA (V5). Any advice?

If its the same as an e/c16SE (which it should be) then look at the headgasket mounting face above the oil filter, below the end exhaust port, nearest the gearbox

Note. If the blocks been decked then you wont have one.

Its on the front of the engine, next to the dipstick where the gear box mates to the block. I've circled in red where on this pic, sorry it's not clearer but it's the best pic on the pc.

Thanks for the info I thought it was but its got four numbers there and I was expecting something else. So this is the number the DVLA request when an engine has been transplanted then??
