When I was at the scrapyard I picked up a brakelight from the rear window of a Vectra. I want to attatch this to the top of my tailgate window. How easy is it and how would I go about wiring this up? Cheers

correct me if I'm wrong but you should be able to wire it in paralell with the existing lights. What wires come off of it?

Although saying that, I've seen a guide somewhere - something about doing thr above can stop one of the brekae lights on one side working (?) dunno though...

You should just be able to run the two wires (+ and earth) down the side of the hatch and connect them to the wires on one side of your rear cluster breakes. There is not enough power in the new breaklight to affect the existing ones performance. I did mine about two days ago. Its a bastard to try and get it to stick to the windscreen. Try double sided tape.

you can also get foam fixing pads from halfords - use them numberplate fixing pads - foam and very sticky - can be cut to size.
