Rev counter over reading?

since fitting a new engine into my brothers nova, the rev counter seems to over read quite alot, its a 1.4 sr with mk1 clocks. is there anything we can do to change this or adjust it to how its supposed to be? thanks leon

Have you touched the clocks at all? I removed the needle off the rev and when I replaced it it was about 1k above what it should be.

Yeah it comes off, but not easily.. nah had to sell my ticket dude, im jobless and skint still!

Hoping to get to billing but not even sure on that.

To change the subject again lol have you got any wheels that'd fit over 16v brakes? Or know anyone that has? Cav steelies would be ideal.
