Morning all,

I offered to wire in some guages for CoupeUk on Fri... Now, he was an Oil Pressure and a AFR gauge to go in...

On the Oil Pressure guage the green goes to the sender, but what colour is the wire from the oil pressure switch?

On the AFR guage, What wire from the lambda sensor to i cut into to?

One last things :) I still need to wire in my oil pressure warning light and guage on my xe into my digi dash. What colour wires should i be looking out for?

Cheers Guys!

Chris

has it got a wideband lambda sensor? if not then there is fook all point putting the AFR gauge in as it will simply switch from lean to rich.

standard lambda sensor, i get what you mean... Wouldn't the guage just interpret the resistance and give a display? 0-5v

no as the sensor only outputs 0 or 1 volts (ish)...(well ok there is a small area of voltage slew but its so narrow you wont see it)

so what your saying is, it would be more useful have a multimeter ont he dash wired in... and 0.5v being stochemetric.

What would be the o2 feed from the lambda though? wouldn;t mind checking mine lol Was going to ask the guys at redot if i could set it up again for sat, but havent got the time, and need to find my counterpart driving license yet. is it definaltey needed??

the ecu dosent hold stoich..... it dances either side of it depending weather the sensor is saying rich or lean. Its way too fast for most multimeters to see. you "could" do it with a decent datalogging scope etc.

We'll skip that then... lol
