well for starters, i need to get the car back from where its having a new coscast head put on, he 'says' tomorrow, iv got to finish spraying bumpers, skirts, rocker cover. iv got to fit 4 hose kits, a new set of clocks, wire up a thermometer for a little digital clock/thermometer (think its out a cav), some sill plates, paint calipers and drums, put 4 new mudflaps on, make a cover to go along where the battery is ..... and give it a bloody good clean

make a list and a timline for each item - prioritise the most important bits to get car running - the cosmetic stuff leave until the end - that way you can always fit it on the Saturday when your on site!

I need to fit new speakers, door cards, didnt get round to welding on new arches, have no windscreen wiper and have no time t fix it, got a missfire that needs sorting and my clutch cable wants looking at as does my central locking and lccy windows. Need a new rear bumper too. Im gonna be busy!

Everything was going great until the frigging gearbox AGAIN! So now its gone back to have the diff removed and a little more machining done so that cluster fits properly [grrr] but I must say a BIG thanks to Easi Gears in Thornaby for their help!

Then theres the other moohassive list of jobs to do after fitting the engine so the conversion is officially postponed until after PV and Billing is now the current target :(

Still, at least I only have to wash and polish it now lol

Simps, bit of 50x50 box section, make up an A frame that bolts to it through the bumper mounts and bring it as a trailer, if you have a vehicle big enough with a towbar.

I've been working flat out every night after work and all weekend every weekend for the past 8 weeks and still have this lot left to do:

Prime and paint:
Doors
Bonnet
Rear hatch
Mirror covers
Rear bumper
Rocker cover
Cam cover
Fit all of above
Fit wiper motor and wipers
Fit seats
Fit carbon door and boot trims
Design & install door pops (had to use de-locked doors)
Purchase and fit side repeaters
Fit 2 new bottom ball joints
Oil & filter
Top up gearbox oil
Buff and clean everythingCar looks pretty much like this at the mo :cry:

Theres lots I'm not happy with on the car, a couple of bits could have done with more time spending on the prep before painting. It looks OK but I'm not 100% happy with some of it.
