im not much for bodywork but just recently i have been having a dabble and
im starting to enjoy and get into it, second major surgery i have ever done>

yup bad boy boot, when i said that i was going non kit standard bumpers with small wheels a few people said that thats getting over done now so thought i would put my mark on it but not way over the top

lol im well proud of how it came out but i think most of it was luck

did you weld that panel in?

If sop and its a dabble that really impressive!

If not be careful - looks good but if its not welded it'll eventually crack...

i like the boot, lad round my way had one done years ago but not as 'aggressive' as yours

trying do something a bit different now standard ish with a few pannel changes maybe front light change but cant find any wheels atm

The boot covers the whole of the rear light bulbs, you can only see the curved edge? Lol


Nice work on the bodypanel, come out quite well.

Actually that completely obscures the tail and brake lights!

Think you'll need to trim them down a fair bit, or take the rear lights out completely, weld a plate in to replace the lenses, and fit some good looking trailer lights into the top half of the bumper.

good job on the body work mate, i have a 5 door nova with a big rust hole in the near side wing, im hopin to get it sorted next week though:)

just get stuck into it bud and hope for the best,
best way i found is cut the new pannel as near to what you need then put the new panel against the old and mark using the new pannel as a template

the boot and lights are staying in the same place i'll get round it may even use some of mikes idea but just put extra main lights/brake somewhere

last owner tried to swallow another car via lower rear quarter

the pannel that went on had a sill spot welded on it not rotten it's untreated weld
