Well after mucho consideration i gave up the hunt for a mint shell to start my fast road/track car with when a mate in a pub mentioned a little red merit sitting on his drive. Anyway a few pints and £50 later she was mine.

The shell isnt that corroded just needs a new front pannel, arch wing and maybe doors. It will most probably have an xe in it unless an uber nice 8v comes allong.

easy leave it out in the sun for a few hours and hey presto.

the andines coming out after pv and the welding can commence

I left mine in the sun for ages and it still never came off that easy!
Must be Poverty Spec Sound deaderning!
