GTE rev problems

Got a nova gte which is starting to annoy me. The revs drop really slow and have a habbit of sticking anywhere between 1 and 2k. Changed the throttle cable as i thought that was sticking but that hasnt solved it? any ideas?

It's not just a GTE problem, My SR sometimes does the same it will idle from 850 - 2000

its sucking air from somewhere.

on the gte there are a number of very thin litle pipes on the back of the injection unit, they were gree and some clear on mine, theres a good chance 1 of those has come off or is loose, otherwise check your oil brather pipe, if that has a leak it will have the same effect

cheers, sorted it now :D , throttle cable didn't have enough slack in it so wasn't springing the throttle back easily.
