I'm absolutely gutted. Was driving back from Brighton a couple of weeks ago and hit a pothole followed closely by a bump. I do the same route every day and must always just miss it. I've snapped the front panel which has twisted the steering making the differential twist and we all know what happens then, yes, f***ed up gear box. damn. She's off the road probably for another 2 weeks. While she is off the road though i'm going to change the cams to fast road. At the moment I have standard cams and am running around 194bhp. Need a dyno test after. Not all bad I spose.:(

you know what fcuks my head in is that all the fcuking money that dam goverment take off you in tax is in there fat ass pockets and not being spent on the roads,surley you can make a claim based on how deep the pothole is from the tarmac level:confused: im guessing you have the xe in your motor so what mods do you have to run 193 bhp?

i mate got compensation when he hit a pot hole and cracked one alloy and bent the other..

Gonna take a picture of the pothole apparently the council should pay up. Couple of mates done similar. Yes it is and xe from a 2l astra gsi. its russel wheatlands old one. http://www.pngclub.com/forum/viewfeaturecar.php?ref=3052 It's got the future stuff done as well now though.
