1600 carb

hi guys

can someone tell me whether putting a 1600 carb on m 1300 sr will make any difference not a mechanic so dont know whether it will make a difference.

No, If it was the Cavalier 1.6 it should be a twin choke Pierburg 2E3. It's just the same but with larger jets. U could use it, have the jets changed, but it would make little difference.

I bought a set of second hand Astra GTE 16v discs pads and calipers and am having trouble fitting them to my B reg nova SR. The wheels don't fit over the whole lot when its all together. Do I need any extra parts such as nova GTE hub carriers, or is it a lost cause?

shortbloke: have you got the 3 bar wheels? If you have that is your problem, the callipers are to big to go behind the wheel.
