i was wondering if you can take the jetronic pack off the airflow system as i want to just put a cone filter on it. i need to know asap cheers peeps:confused:
No you cant unless you change the entire engine loom for a non AFM equipped engine

no you cant just take it off the car wont start with out that, car needs the airflow sensor, just buy a pipercross cone filter or a k and n there good just bolt it on to the bosh air box then happy day:thumb:

An induction kit for a GTE/E16SE engine has a bracket to support the AFM (jetronic unit) & a square adaptor plate plus the cone filter.
Best off adding a large air feed to the std airbox, snap out the restrictor & using a panel filter tbh.
K&N do a GTE Specific item, with a square inlet on the Cone.

I'm with graig, get a K&N panel filter and drill the front bottom of the box with a cold feed. There was a website i found that tested different filters and std box was best :)
