I'm thinking of selling my project car as I really don't have the time to start it. I was driving the car on a daily basis up until January, when the MOT ran out and I decided to turn it into a full track car.
Sadly, I now just don't have the time to do this, so I might get rid of it to someone that will appreciate it more.
As a car its quite clean, very bright flame red paint work, but if you look closely its had a few repairs here and there, and a few bits of surface rust on the bottom of the arches, nothing serious though.
Structurally it's very sound, one of the cleanest nova's i have ever owned. That said I think it will need a patch on the front nearside strut though. If you want photos of anywhere specific please let me know, but as I say it is very tidy in all the standard rust places, overall a very good shell, much better than the one I'm using as my track car at the moment which cost me a lot more money to get!
Engine wise - Currently sporting a flat battery (to be fixed) but otherwise a very good engine, pulls very well! No oil burning or water loss, although there is an intermitant mis firing problem (I reckon it's either a wiring or AFM problem), although as I say, this seems to happen quite randomly, you can drive it for miles and its fine...
For all I'm saying that's bad about it, it is a very clean and sound car, and you could get away with just getting an MOT and some Tax for it to get it back on the road.
