odds on they will have speed traps on some of the surrounding roads, and possibly some to guide traffic if it gets silly.

basically as with all the time, ensure you are 100% legal in all aspects of the car... and dont drive like a twunt. easy

Can't say I've ever noticed them really, but keep your eyes peeled on the surrounding roads for speed traps and when leaving the site take it steady going down Airfield Road, every year someone goes barrelling down there and forgets about the junction at the end and ends up either being taken out by someone on the main road or flying into the trees opposite. 2005 saw a fully restored, concourse viva (not 100% sure, been drunk since) being written off by a landy 90.

As Stu says, I would expect mobile sppedtraps etc on surrounding roads. Likweise with any show tbh.

If there isnt, pleasant surprise.

Aye, just drive sensibly.
As there may be and has been crashes on the roads to pod due to people driving stupidly...
If youve never been before, the roads are mostly tight, twisty lanes for about the last 2/3 mile before pod

everytime I go to santa pod regardless of what show it is between junction 15 and 20 on the M1 there is always a complete tool that thinks they are Vin diesel and tries to drift down the M1 and fails badly.

Aye, ideal for idiots to get over excited, not to mention the crossroads that are all too easy to over shoot. There was a bad accident there a couple years ago.

Ah yes the cross roads, last year on the way back a evo / scooby cant remember which went steaming into the back of a load of cars waiting to cross it. Was a few cars behide when it happened.

Thing is it wont stop them from driving like tools, they will just blame it on the brakes or some crap.
