Mk2 With MK1 Bumpers?

Anyone got a picture of a MK2 with Mk1 SR bumpers on? Any reason it won't work?

looks wierd because the mk1 bumpers have a recess were the grille sits, the mk2's dont, so it dosent sit flush with the grille. looks odd.

yeah u get a bit of a gap between the grill and bumper. ive seen ppl mod them so they fit properly without a gap and looks pretty good. sure sum1 will post sum pics up..

I've been thinking of putting GTE rear on my MK2. Could do with some piccys, although I suppoe from the back it will look like a GTE anyway :P

the exhausts are different on mk1 and 2's. the cut out for the exhaust will be in the wrong place unless you change or bodge the backbox.

or get a back box which fits a mk 1 bumper :P

Aint got back box yet so its a future thing depending on what bumper I decide to have.

Got to say, cant particularly notice the gap in the bumper (put it down to another nova quirkyness, like the angle of the steering wheel)

Might go for front and back GTEs myself.

Mk1 Bumpers with a mk2 Grill and head light set up? TBH, I'm a purest, so imop you're betterogg haveing a mk1 or a mk2. GM never made a Mk 1.5 Nova.

My old GTE had mk2 front and rear bumpers fitted with no gaps :) looked good. Stubs had a GTE front bumper on his mk2 looked good :)

If you wanted you could fiber glass and filler the gap.
