nova gte tank sender wires

Ok, thanks to the help of my mate andy we fitted and plumbed up the gte tank today but ive got a brown and a blue/black wire from the old sender but the gte tank has a plug fitted to it, andy thinks he might have a plug to wire up to it but if not does it matter which wire goes to which connector on the plug?

i know on other cars like a min for instance if i switched the wires round on the sender the fuel guage read completely wrong...

if theres only 2 wires it shouldnt matter what way round, its just a resistor.

if its wrong it wont do any harm and you can easily swap them over
