Went outside this morning, to find some little ****er has run over my car.

I'm partly glad, as it could have been the XR2 which would be a real real shame. At least the nova allready had a few dings and dents !

Doesn't look too bad, but it's ****ING annoying.

The expected Foot-print size dents. :(

Something drastically needs to be done with todays society. I'd never dream of doing such a thing, to a car or any other persons property. I vaugley belive in karma, so hopefully the little ******* will get mown down by a car soon.

yeah it happened recently to a friend up the street with his pristine cortina, they actualy caught the little tw@ts due to the finger prints they used to climb on the bonnet, could they have possibly left there prints on yours? they have to be caught and named and shamed as they do in our local paper.

Im not really sure wther it's worth phoning the police.

You'd have to be a total midget to have to use your hands to get onto the front of the car !

it was down to the fact they put there hand on the bonnet first to jump on the car,the fact being they were caught, and only slapped on the wrist and thats it,the guys cars bonnet and roof wre pushed in/dented and had to pay for it himself. phoning the police probaly aint worth it as they do jack sh!t anyway, but in this case it did do something but for what.

some lads did this to mine, i gave the police there names and addresses, SOCO came out and took fingerprints and shoeprints off the car - was sure they'd get charged - NOPE, the police said the costs involved with prosecuting them outweighed the seriuosness of the crime, yet i nearly got cautioned for ranting and raving at copper and threatening to burn the lads house down

not reporting a "crime" is worse than the fact that reporting it and them doing fcuk all is.

The govt will think "ohhh petty criminal damage has dropped, therefore the police farce are doing their job... we can cut funding to them and make them put more speed cameras out to fill up the extra money we took away"

Just report it Nick. It will take no time at all and atleast it might save some others from an unnessecary "speeding fine"

Exactly, the government bangs on "crime rates are right down"

Err, no they aren't, people just dont bother reporting crime anymore because nothing comes out of it. Lol

Yep i does :(

And to make it worse, i was woken up by a noise which sounded just like someone running over a car. However, i thought i was just imagining it and didn't bother looking.

I'm going to report it on tuesday. I've got a degree portfolio to do at the moment. I'd not thought about it in that way Stuart, it makes alot of sense so i'l go and fill out some forms and get told to go home. Theres a Dent right at the top of the windscreen and on the roof. Hopefully a dent man can pull them out, they're fairly shallow and theres no paint damage.

I just wish to god i'd have got up. Saying that, i probably would have totally lost it with them and done something that would have landed me in trouble !

On another note, my car was parked behind my housemates absolutly stunning CRX, so i'm kinda glad they jumped on my banger rather than getting the satisfication from ruining his immaculate car - T055ers
