does anyone know what each code is on the slam panel?

On the slam panel you have two plates riveted on. one plate has the vin number and weight details ect. the other plate is painted body colour, i would assume the codes which are stamped on to this plate would state what was spec'd on the car at the time of manufacture.?

if that is right does any one have a list of what each individual code means?

if not what then what are the codes actualy there for?

can anyone enlighten me?

Someone did have a list a few years back, I've found a section of the EPC where you can type them in an get explainations for most of them. Two of the codes mean 'for vauxhall/GB' and 'radio' I know for sure, think theres one that points out which type of glass was to be fitted to, clear, bronze or green tint.

PM'ing it or cropping it so the vin plate isn't visible would be best.
