That bit on the gearbox where the speedo cable plugs in!

Help! how do you get that white plastic bit out of an F20 where the speedo cable plugs in? My speedo cable has snapped and the end is stuck in this plastic bit and is flush:( . I've had the 10mm bolt off but it's still soild. I don't want to pull too hard incase I bust it. Help!!!

or

Get a screwdriver between the flange (hehehe) and box and lever it out.

or.. unscrew the cable from the white plastic bit and screw the new one onto it. This will only work if its not the white plastic bit thats broken lol
