Right, its obviously leaked a whole load of fluid and wont rise any more that a few inches. How do I go about refilling it and bleeding it??

Get some of that jack oil from halfords and there should be a allen key or summin, It depends on the jack of course

I've found where the fluid goes in, I even have the fluid but how do i put it in? Does the jack need to be up fully, or fully lowered? And I assume it needs to be bled, how do I do this?

Strangely I was reading the sticker on my jack the other day...

Have the jack in the lowest position, fill with oil and the pump it up 5-6 times with no load - job done.

I thought that was a little odd tho as the air has nowhere to escape....

Its an industrial one for Vans and small trucks, so costs a couple of hundred quid. I'd sooner spend a few quid on Fluid that a few hundred as a replacement.

Fair enough in that case then.

chuck fluid in, open the "lower it" valve, and pump that badboy. Thats how to bleed them

yea put it in lowerd then pump it all the way up and let it all the way down a coupple of times withought load.

i have put dot4 in before and it seemed to work but i wouldent advise it. if it has all leaked out tho you might want to check the seals as this is what happend to mine
