i just cant get the knack of it ,cooltiger ive tried what you posted up and it just doesnt work for me,whats meant to happen when you hit the "print screen button"do you hit it once or do you press and hold,how you then get paint up etc.tried a couple of different ways and just cant get my head around it.:( thats what i have as me screensaver:) :

what you need to do mate is minimise any open windows to have a clear shot of your desktop.

Press 'print screen' as you would press any key on your keyboard.

Open paint and paste.

You will then see your desktop in paint, then save.

Press printscreen on the keyboard
Open MS Paint (Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint)
Open the Edit menu and choose "paste"
Accept any message that pops up
Once the pic has pasted in, go to File > Save, and save the file somewhere
NOTE: Save the file as a jpeg - it will be a lot smaller than the default bitmap

Then go to www.imageshack.us
Click the Browse button, and find the image you just saved
Click the Host It! link
Wait...
Copy the content of the SECOND box ("thumbnail for forums 1")
Paste the text into your PNG post

It will look something like this:

Yep it's a midi keyboard :) Mixer is a DJM600, not sure on grpahics card, I built the machine ages ago!

Depends how old the card is tbh, most PCI-Express cards have dual outputs that can run a monitor each, even my crappy radeon HD3450 does! (about £30 new).

We run at least 2 screens at work, code on one view on the other lol

Hence why I have 2 screens at home also. It is also handy in Ableton Live (music production) as you can spread it out across both screens.
