Where to find ign live and earth...?

Where do I find an ign live and earth either behind the clocks, from the fuebox or behind the steering shroud?

Aquired a shift light but it supposed to be connected to a cig lighter but I dint have one as I stripped my dash out and have minimised the wiring.

Earth can go anywhere on the shell, or to any other mounting point. There is normally one behide the dash on the steering. All black wires should be an ignition live on the car.

if you still finding it hard use radio wires. like phil saidblack ing live brown or shell earth

Got this sorted, earthed to bolt on steering column and I tapped into an ign live.

Couldnt tap into radio wires, I chopped them all out!
