havin a bit of a mare with my front end i want to fit my mk1 front with my quads but ive broken the light and i only got one spotlight left, i can only get the replacements for the headlight not the spots, do i put the 2 headlights in and use my air filter to poke through where the spot was or just fit my old mk2 front end

defoo don't put mk2 front back on!! i just got some quad lights today there sooo much better!! just get some cold air feed, that metal tubing stuff and fix it to the back of the broken one.

wanna get it sorted for pvs i really dont want the mk2 but i want it to look nice its a mk1 standard but it had both fronts with it when i picked it up today
might fit the filter through where the light was an sww how it looks

Just fit a cold air feed if you want simplicity for PVS.

Then look at replacing the lamp or fitting the Mk2 front end.

Sorry, i dont understand this at all. You wanna fit Mk1 Quad Lamps on a Mk2 but you've cracked one of the Quad lights?

He has a Mk1 front with quad lamps. One of the lamps is damaged, so he's unsure whether to remove the lamp and fit an air intake, or remove the whole lot and fit a Mk2 front end.

BMW E30 lights are a straight swap, just get a set of them.

are you 100% certain theyre a straight swap for a quad conversions kit? think the lamps are 5 1/2"

IIRS theres one lug on the E30 head light needs to be cut/files off to make it fit flush, but that aside, yeah they're a straight swap. I've tried them in my Lamp Pod and they're spot on. Get the late "smilie face" style head lights as these are a lot better that the older models as they have a globe insert.

No, the lamps are 5 3/4". I'm pretty sure the BMW E30 lamps are 5 1/2".

Could be interesting if they did fit, as that would open up the option for decent HIDs...

measuerd them today my lamps are 5 1/2" so the beemer ones should fit
