Astra GTE wheels - what tyres???

Just bought supposed ok set of Astra GTE rims with tyres. Sadly the tyres are poor and are of 2 different sizes - 195/60/14 and 185/65/14

Which is best size to go for in replacements. Obviously would prefer the wider ones but will they foul arches etc???

I use 185/55/14, no clearance issues, widely available, cheap and still wide enough to grip.

I use 185/60R14 Goodyear Eagle F1s (no longer available in this size) on the front, and Goodyear Excellences in the same size on the back, great performance in the wet from both. Note that I'm using 3 spokes which are 1/2" narrower, but the tyres will still fit.
