How old does the car have to be to qualify for classic car insurance, and also isn't there like a minimum age for the policy holder, like 21???

Some are done ont he Vehicle model age... (the nova is 25 etc) some are done on the vehicle age...

Most classic policies do require you to be 21, i was with Lancaster on the Manta and now ithe HIC on the Nova. I honestly don't know what age restrictiosn they have as I'm past the horrible insurance age :) just lol

Depends on the insurer. HIC classified my Nova as a Classic when it was 15 years old.

As for age, my friend had a classic car policy on his Mini at 17, again, i think it's insurer dependent!

Yup, varies from company to company.

Just ask for a second car/restricted mileage policy, those will be usually be "classic" policies.

also most of the earlier jap imports are falling into the classic policy range now too!!!!

HIC are a good place to start although you cant get more than one quote online
