Hope this makes sense!!Ive got a Sony head unit and about a year ago someone offered me a Sony cd changer.I thought they would link up pretty easy but there doesnt seem to be anywhere to plug it in.Ive asked so many people that should know what they are talking about (ie Maplin,Halfords.....long shot i know lol!) but no one seems to know what to do.Im guessing ill have to buy an adapter or something but Ive no idea.Any help will be really appreciated!Cheers:thumb:
Do you know the model numbers of the head unit and CD changer?

The model number of the headunit is CDX-S2050,my mum has helpfully "tidyed" the changer away!!
There should be a Remote In socket on the bottom right of the back of the HU. Like a headphone socket

Cheers, will try it tomorrow....if i can find the bloody changer!
dosnt look like its got one...can you get a pic of the back of the head unit up..the spec of ur head unit says it dosnt have a changer output..get a pic up..
The rear schematic in the CDX-S2050 manual says it has a line in socket, on the back, bottom right as you look at it.

Right, finally found the changer!!The model number is CDX-T69,there isnt any way of connecting it other than a red and a white plug, but then the one that im guessing powers it up has nowhere to go!!Will get a pic up of it in a bit if anyone wants it
Ahhh, just looked at the diagram again. The remote in is for a remote control; I thought it meant remote as in accessory lol
Seems the HU has no accessory input channel.

The changer should have connections for +12v, ground and remote, ground the ground and apply 12v to the other 2.
Connect black to earth, then red & yellow to positive on the battery :D
....preferably via a fuse, just in case lol
