high oil pressure

hi all just recently when giving the car a bit of stick when i go up to 6000rpm the oil pressure guage goes right up past the last line. checked for too much oil etc any ideas?

My digidash 'gauge' is often showing full pressure, especially when revving or cold.

is full pressure not good though? my needle guage goes up way past that!!

i found that the needles need repositioning. on my old gte, when u turn the ignition, it never used to go to the zero line, it would be slightly above giving higher pressure.

I might just be talkin poo though lol

yeah when i turn the engine off and ignition it just sits in the middle.

Yes thats normal

As for the other guy, does the gauge work right? It will sit off the scale if you dont have the right sender fitted/connected.

the guage was working as said it sits bout 3/4 wen cruising at 3000rom then wen you give it some it goes up way past full!
