redtop bad running

hi. iv just put a redtop in my nova i think its a later engine because it has a coil pack rather than a dizzy and coil. the problem im having is it has a missfire but only wen revved from idle and when it misses it seems to start running rich and then backfires. iv tried coolant temp sensor, lamda sensor throttle pos sensor and its still there. any ideas. any help will be grately apprieciated. cheers :thumb:

Have you got your EM light wired up?

yeah mate it is wired up. it stays on al the time until u disconect the battery then it stays off till u start the engine then its ther all the time again.

Needs to be tech 2'd then, it should tell you any error codes.

i had it put on a diagnostic machine and it didnt read any faults all it kept coming back up wiv was [#2 ground error] which i presume is an earth but the machine was old so may have not bin suited properly
