Tim, you crack me up!
You work at Halfords & dont even use the guide books on the shelves that are there for customers.
Its some form of ATF & IIRC the blue Halfords bottles have General Motors written on some of them.
Halfords own brand shizzle should be fine, I think they have two different types one of which was for pugs and the other for everything else iirc....
Bear in mind they will be hidden in a random part of the store, nowhere near any of the other oils. Or that could just be my local store being retarded lol
I use halfords own, Ep 80w/90 GL-4 Its in the haynes manual and i also have the bottle from halfords sat in front of me.
I used to use DEX III (technically ATF but GM specced it like that)
thanx for help
im using some old oil from the chippy around the corner
Atf is the best to use it goes in most things really. When i worked at a clutch and gearbox centre everything that didnt use atf just had 10/40 engine oil
well iwas hopeing to fix my cv boot and get it all running but .... 1.2 and 1.6 boot arn't the same

Sure? I remember Halfords trying to tell Lee there was two types when we did mine, but he was certain they were all the same.
just get the bigger one with a bigger cable tie lol.

Depends on the CV joint. The boots I bought blatantly didnt go over the joints the shop sold me... returned them & was given alternative ones which did fit. Theres usually much confusion at motor factors regarding Nova driveshafts & CV's.
