thats the only pic i have of the side of my astra, the black strips down the side how can i take those off without damaging the paintwork or leaving it looking mankey?? i dont think there the proper ones cos there rubber, to take the badges off the back i used catgut a hairdryer and parrafin, would i do the same??

oh, and just cos i can, heres my astra and nova together!! :D

Heat them with a blow lamp (gently) Hot air gun or Hair dryer and tart prising them off

They are genuine as the early Astra 3s had questionable add ons.

I'm breaking 2 GSi Astras at the moment.

if there standard 1's they should have metal under them?

Thats in the Later spec ones, and even then they're adheved in place.

they look w*nk!! my autos on an m reg aswell, they were already off when i got it, it has black marks all the way along the sides
