Whats the widest wheel you have fitted to your nova and how much clearence do you have on the arches and suspension struts.
If you can provide pics that would be ace and also the tyre size you have used.

Remember saloons don't have the outer arch clearance issues that hatchbacks do.
Rexy, I thought the Borbet wheels you had on the saloon before were quite wide?
I sold them tho jack, they were only a 7j which tbh is the norm, and again loons have a totally different setup to the hatcy. Which makes wide wheels and low low low a pretty hard look to achive in any sort of drivable state.

mine were in the arches. i did have to build my own arches to get them to fit.

looks cool! but...

That looks like some excessive modification, more than trimming or rolling an arch.

Looks like that kit you can buy off ebay, that slaps rounded arches ontop of the square ones..i'm guessing you cut the inner arch then?
Would've looked better with a wide arch kit.

If you wanna go low on a loon you need to get choppy choppy on the inner arch...

slightly off topic, but with the rear wheels, is there anyway of sitting the wheel central in the arch? Is it a case of modifying the beam?

why does it need to be tho?
you would need to lengthen the beam arms or move the mounting point.

this was no kit off ebay. i built the aches myself to suit the wheels.
it was major work which involved cutting the old quarters off and inner arch and making new ones up to fit the new arches.

have you got any better pics gordo? looks nice!
yeah al get more up. think most of them or photos that i will need to scan on to the computer. and most of them are just the build of it.
17x8j et45, no issues at all except full lock they would only just touch the tie bars/chassis leg
this was lowered 60mm

wow i dont think ive ever seen a wheel sit so far to the front of the arch.
surely a std car dropped on its **** wont make the wheel sit further forward effectively making it a short wheel base lol. how was that beam converted to 5stud?
