Llandow Report... Not the best! lol

So Corsakid and I took the the 2 silver Novas for a blat around Llandow on Saturday... With our mate Rich in his Evo 8.

Day started off very wet and grey!:mad: But as soon as we arrived it brightened up and was a belter of a day.

On the first session, mine decided that it was bored of the track and refused to select gears! :( I was only taking it easy too... but I easily mashed an Exo 6&7 and a few Caterhams! :)

Kris in his lasted 2 sessions, having snapped his driveshaft, after fitting some slicks... it seems that they didnt like the slick/plate diff combo and snapped on a tight left hander! :(

Here are some pics.... it turned out that mine had snapped 3 of the ARP flywheel bolts flush with the crank!! :eek: And the flywheel was just dancing around in the bell housing!!!!!

Managed to get ger all fixed today though PHEW!!!

Yeah, I have no idea how they came loose! (Thats how they snapped I think) I repleaced them with GM items this morning... so fingers crossed!

Its a 45 minute drive and it cost £60, so it was a steal.

I managed to sell my track time too for £30 after my flywheel incident, so I was less annoyed!

Just glad I hadnt driven to Knockhill and it happened! lol

Tell me about it... I stopped halfway around on one lap as it wouldnt go into geat properly... my mater just said.. 'sounds like the exhaust is blowing - must be clutch' so I nailed it back on track through the gears, with only 3 bolts holding the flywheel on! :eek:
