when using 'wet and dry' paper between coats of paint, is it just a simple case of washing it all the crap off with water and waiting for it to dry?

if you go over the surface with wet and dry before the next coat you want to make sure you go over with panel wipe first to clean the surface properly then allow to fry before the next coat.
