sri loom for gsi engine.

got an sri but without an engine, want to put a gsi engine in as im gettin 1 cheap with loom and ecu.

but im stuck on wiring as the sri loom seems to be never ending.

wot do i do about wiring the gsi engine in.

please help.

From reading posts on here, the SRi Loom is part of the entire loom in a Nova, doesnt split and so it tied in with all your lights etc etc etc.

I suppose the best co**** of action is to ignore the current loom, and wire the car using your GSi Loom, and then, when the cars finished and running, just cut off or tape off your unused loom.

so you think just wire in the gsi loom , and ignore the sri engine loom and tuck the unecessary parts away.(engine loom)

Pretty much, yeah. Wait til you have the car running before you tuck it away as there may be wires you need co connect into. When the cars done, you have the option to chop it out then.
