does anyone know how much it will cost to tax a 1998 2.5 vectra gsi? just cheacking before i commit to buying one!

If you can afford to keep one feuled up the tax is the least of your worrie's lol.
It just cost me £47 to get from swindon to Newquay were as it only cost my mate £27 in his 1963 splitcreen camper.
I was only sat between 70mph/80mph at the most.
They do like feul alot.

Anything before Y reg is done on the under/over 1500cc rule, everything after that is on the emmisions based system. The V6 seems to be the most economical of the petrol vectra's, I struggle to get better than 27mpg around town in my 2.0, but my brothers V6 would always manage 30mpg on the same route.
