Is it just me, or has anyone else had the feeling that he just wants to cark it on Everest rather than a hospital bed.

The guy is a legend, but I think he's pushing it a bit this time.

I say good for him, most people his age are probably stuck in a retirement home half dead anyway!

Agreed, he's going to make a lot of money for charity at the same time, but i still have a suspicion he's not expecting to make it back down.

I can't imagine him wanting to die on a hospital bed tbh, die with your boots on and all that

He's already done it before. He's halfway up it again already.

Its worth noting that last time he did it, he had a massive heart attack half way up. Think he's had about 4 in total!

He also amputated his own frostbitten fingers using a hacksaw. He's hard as nails!

fair enough he amputated his own frost bitten fingers but he would'nt really feel it would he? (not at the time anyway) more to the point i would'nt be climbing a big f**k off mountain again knowing what happened before! atleast he wont get cold fingers this time!
