nova doors are different
they have different holes at the bottom where the doorcard clips on, noticed this when helpin my mate transfer his froma nova gsi

The bonnet catch pin is slightly different too - I can't remember how, I just remember having to swap them round after a lot of headscratching and confusion as to why it wouldn't fit...

The big round badge on a mk2 bonnet gives the front end a 'teddy bears nose' IMO.

iv got a mk2 bonnet on my mk1 after i came up and smashed the screen on a road test , its merit green with a big **** off badge . i hate it and wonderd why it didnt fit as good as my original i had to mess about with the catch a lot to get it to fit .

its going for paint soon minus badge , roll on sqaure decal

i had no problem with a mk2 bonnet on my mk1.

another difference is that thing what keeps the door open, i hava no idea how its called, but its differentlol

^ Check strap - the difference being a Mk1 has the A pillar hook bolted on, whilst the Mk2 has the hook welded on.
