Bonnet pins?

Does anyone have a clue as to the best way to fit these? got them mounted in the slam panel, had a spare messed up bonnet so practiced on that and got the hole in such as wrong place its untrue!!

i measured where i wanted them on the slam panel, the measured it up on the bonnet. drilled the holes in the bonnet then shut the bonnet and checked the slam panel, then drilled them :)

What so u just measured the distance from the front of the slam panel u wanted it then measured that back onto the bonnet?

Use masking tape and pencil in the positions, put tape on the wing and then draw a line, then on the headlight and mark there, then use a tape measure to measure to your hole in the slam panel, X and Y style, close the bonnet and from those two markings, plot the point on the bonnet with your measured distances :thumb:

swap for mine that already has them cut ? ;)

put the pins in the slam, put blu-tac or something similar on top of bonnet pins, shut bonnet, lift back up, drill where blue tac went.
