fuel escaping through filler cap......

everytime i go round a left hander at any kind of speed, fuel sloshes up the filler neck and down the side of my freshly painted car! ive checked the seal on the cap and it seems to be ok.

does anyone else have this trouble and is there anything i can do to stop it?

Return valve in the filler pipe fitted?

i have no idea adam. will i have to remove it completely to find out?

should it not have a ball in the tank to stop this?

Check that the 3 screws are tight that hold the filler neck to the bodywork, theres also a seal between them as well.
My old Nova used to leak thru the cap after i crashed it, tried new cap, new seal on the cap, adding extra seals to the cap, then realised that the filler neck had been pulled off the bodywork slighty.
Even if theres no one way valve it shouldnt leak while going around bends.
