Had the heatgun out today on the bumper, wasn't too sure what I was doing, but this is how its turned out.
It's looking a bit patchy, anything I can do to make it more even??
Sorry for pic quality, only had my phone nearby!

Give it another clean, then another going over.

well gave it a clean and another going over, and that was the end result. If I keep going over it won't it just melt completely and i'll have no bumper left :(
only has one heat setting, or maybe I just put it straight on high... no definatly just one setting!

If you just go over the areas that are lighter it will darken them up and match the whole bumper up

thats the only one i can find, stupidly deleted alot of stuff off my laptop the other day, poor qulaity but can sort of see the difference.

Had a good look at it today and it looks like its not peeling, but sort of has a layer of dirt/dust on it? Can't explain itreally, and no it doesn't need washing. Is there something need to put on it??? Or am I just being really dumb.
Gunna go over it again when its not raining, and am not at work, Ideally tomorow, but working:(
Edit: is now more like the colour of the vinyl strips.

Use some WD40 it'll help bring out the original colour and remove some of the patchyness, but it's just a lot of hard work to make it look nice and even.
