some of you may know that i was planning to buy a 106 gti, so i had a look around didnt really find one i wanted, then something popped up on pistonheads on a random searching moment, 3 door 309 GTI Mi16 :p, it was only up the road so i went to have a butchers and fell in love, i am now the new and proud owner :D havent got any pics as it got dark by the time i parked it up but i will try to get some sorted tomorrow!

A mate has a 205 MI16 running on twin 45's... :)

A mate just bought a 309GTI Road Rally car. Car is awesome just needs a good buffing (red paint lol) and some TLC Will be a weapon through the lanes. I've owned a 306 for 5years and never had any major troubles :)

a mate had one years back.... bx twin cam...same as m16 with throttle bodies and cams....silly fast....m3 lights in the rear...easy fit and make it look sweet.... he had it on recovery lorry at donny one year with a cover over it just showing one rear quarter with the lights... no one knew what it was....never forget cokming home he drove it and when he nailed it after a tvr i fell in love with tb!

I like the old pugs and that is no exeption. Not so keen on the newer ones though. Not because they are bad cars it's just they are over rated by chavs, but the 306 Gti-6 is one i'd likelol

I remember when Revs Car Mag came out first, it was always full of tastey 309s. And styling parts and tuning parts were always so cheap and easy to do. I've not seen one of those in years though. Fantastic choice mate.
