have you repaired all the other earths from the engine to the body to the battery?

still sounds like an earthing problem

ive now tried another ecu and afm and still the same, earthed the ecu quickly with a jump lead and it idles now but still no right???any ideas please???also the threads in the chassis where the earth from gearbox goes are screwed but have earthed elsewhere,????need to get it sorted for pv!!!!

I'd hazzard a guess at the earth on the fuel rail being shagged too..

oh and its worth cleaning your Idle Control Valve too.

if neither of those work you need to give a better explaination of the problem... "its not right" is vauge as ****

it idles at a grand but the revs slightly go up and down with the ecu earthed, ive put another earth on the fuel rail but does nothing????

drives brilliant, goes really well once driving just at idle it cuts out, when the ignitions on some times the fuel relay ticks if the throttles open at all????

it shouldnt do that, dropping/cycling fuel pressure could cause the idle problems.
